UTCH - Utah Christian Home School Association

Only member families of UTCH are invited to enroll their children with Utah Christian Educational Institute (UCEI), use the UTCH Co-Ops and join the statewide Yahoo groups.

Utah Christian Education Institute (UCEI) provides UTCH member families with a private school umbrella under which they may educate their children. Some of the reasons UTCH members may choose to operate under an umbrella school include:

• A desire to be free from public school interference in the education of their children.
• A desire to avoid legal problems.
• A desire for help in keeping appropriate records.
• A desire for accountability within the body of Christ.

 The UTCH Cooperative is a collection of parents and sometimes community teachers that meet together with their children to provide  various subjects of instruction in a class room type setting.  Some subjects covered are Spanish, Writing and advanced mathematics.

UTCH Yahoo Groups one of the main methods of communicating that our support groups use.  In the greater Salt Lake Valley all of the support groups combine to use the SLValley Yahoo Group.  Upon joining the associaiton you will be invited to join these groups or you will be added to the group automatically.
