The Younger co-op is a traditional parent led co-op serving children between newborn and 3^rd grade. Co-op classes are split into groups; nursery (ages 0-2), preschool (ages 3&4), K-1^st grade and 2^nd -3^rd grade. We split our co-op into 2 semesters, alternating between science and history curriculums.

Parental responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

$25 membership fee per family

You will be required to teach/help in one of your child’s classes on a rotation basis

You must be a UTCH member

You will be required to be involved in the co-op fundraising projects throughout the year.

The curriculum for the Younger Co-op for the 2009/2010 school year will be as follows:

Pre-school

“Trip Around the World” (history)

“Mudpies to Magnets” (Science)

K-1^st

Native Americans (history)

Weather (science)

2^nd & 3^rd

Ancient Greece (history)

My Body (science)
