The Younger co-op is a traditional parent led co-op serving children between newborn and 3rd grade. Co-op classes are split into groups; nursery (ages 0-2), preschool (ages 3&4), K-1st grade and 2nd -3rd grade. We split our co-op into 2 semesters, alternating between science and history curriculums.
Parental responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- $25 membership fee per family
- You will be required to teach/help in one of your child’s classes on a rotation basis
- You must be a UTCH member
- You will be required to be involved in the co-op fundraising projects throughout the year.
The curriculum for the Younger Co-op for the 2010/2011 school year will be as follows:
Pre-school
Music (Fall)
“Creepy Crawlies” (Spring)
K-1st
Ancient Civilization (Fall)
Dinosaurs by Design (Spring)
2nd & 3rd
Rome (Fall)
Exploring Creation -Swimming Creatures (Spring)
