Programs for Our Youth
Teen Program: Russ Anderson will be guiding our teens as they participate in the video conference of:
These videos will teach our teens WHY expectations for them are so low, WHAT they can do about it, and HOW to join this counter-cultural youth movement and truly live for the Lord!
Children’s Program Brush off your toga and find your sandals because we’re going back in time to the New Testament! Children, ages 5-11, are invited to join us for an exciting new adventure where we will be diving into God’s word, studying alongside the Early Church! We’ll be joined by friends, some old and some new, to help us on our journey of faith, growing as His disciples. And as always there will be tons of fun crafts, songs, skits, and games. We hope to see you there!
Preschool Program Dawnette Pratt will be serving our preschoolers with their wonderful gifts and talents. This year’s preschool program (3-5 years old) will have a Biblical theme. Children will explore history through many different activities. They will practice developing skills including: pre-reading and math skills, large and small muscle skills, listening skills, expression and logic skills, as well as following directions. The program will include group activities, snack times, crafts, and free play time.
Nursery will and be provided for newborn children to 2 years of age. We will work hard to keep all babies content.
Volunteer at the Convention!
We are excited to gather as homeschool families to receive inspiration, encouragement, and likeminded fellowship; and we need YOUR help to make the convention run smoothly! Volunteers are needed to help with setup, registration, nursery, children’s program, and tear down. “Many hands make light work”, so please visit the volunteer sign up http://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0c4da8ac283-utch to find a spot to serve. Teens are especially encouraged to serve, giving their hard-working parents an opportunity to attend as much of the convention as possible. Each hour served is eligible for a $5 rebate, payable at the end of convention. If you have any questions, please contact Susie Jackson. Thank you!
